We are the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie - research is our core competence: Our scientists develop and optimise efficient and inexpensive materials for solar cells, batteries and catalysts. These energy materials are essential building blocks on the way to a CO2-neutral and secure energy supply of the future.As an internal service provider, the procurement of all goods and services required for the performance of these tasks at HZB is the core task of the purchasing department.
In addition to the existing electronic procurement platform, which we are continuously advancing, we want to further promote and continuously optimise the digitalisation of our processes across all divisions. Comprehensive knowledge of SAP and several years of experience in this area are required for the advertised position. Your Tasks
- You work on the development of digital workflow projects, identify stakeholders, develop project plans and take responsibility until they are successfully implemented.
- You liaise closely with the Head and the Strategy, Digital Processes and IT Systems Officer of the Purchasing and Materials Management department.
- You are in close contact with the responsible key users in the administrative-technical departments as well as with the scientific areas in order to involve them.
- You document the projects carried out and work on the department's reporting system.
- You are available to the department as a key user for all topics concerning the SAP system. You will provide first level support for the procurement system for our internal customers. To this end, you use our ticket system, organise and conduct workshops.
- Your tasks include the content management of the catalogues and customising the master data in the procurement system.
Your Profile
- A completed commercial training or bachelor's degree with several years of subsequent professional experience in purchasing
- Several years of experience with SAP-ERP essential
- Affinity for systems and software in the purchasing area, e.g. ARIBA, EasyBANF and ClikView
- Not afraid to communicate with employees from other departments and also to hold a workshop from time to time
- Experience in project management and leading project teams
- Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English

The employment contract is unlimited. The salary is based on the Collective Agreement for the German Public Service (TVöD-Bund).
