Engineer (f/m/d) for Project Development for Technical Infrastructure BESSY III

Reference No.: FM 2024/7

Do you want to help shape the future?

With BESSY III, we aim to build and operate a latest-generation synchrotron radiation source for materials research, which will provide the basis for the design of novel materials and thus for solving major societal challenges. BESSY III will be optimised for high-resolution spectroscopic and microscopic studies in the soft to tender X-ray range. With special laboratory facilities at the HZB research campus and the research and technology campus in Berlin-Adlershof scientists and industry users will be able to gain unique insights into materials, processes, and components under real conditions. We are currently working on the concrete design concept for the facility, which is scheduled to be operational in 2035.
We are looking for support for the BESSY III project team in the conceptual design and project development of the technical infrastructure for BESSY III.
We look forward to receiving your application, even if your profile only partially matches the job description, as we value diverse profiles and want to give special talents the opportunity to contribute to our pioneering project.
