We are the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie GmbH - research is our core competence, which we use to work on solutions for a climate-neutral society. Our scientists develop and optimize efficient and inexpensive energy materials for solar cells, catalysts, better batteries, or for the production of solar fuels. These energy materials are essential building blocks on the way to a CO2-neutral and secure energy supply. HZB also conducts research on energy-efficient information technologies of tomorrow.

Our Purchasing Team is responsible for the legally compliant procurement for research and infrastructure based on public procurement law. As part of our team, you can expect interesting and challenging tasks. You will advise our professors, doctors and doctoral students in physics, chemistry, and biochemistry as well as engineers and technicians on all questions concerning the implementation of procurement procedures, agree on requirements, oversee the implementation of procurement procedures and be responsible for and supervise your technical product groups.

The employment contract is unlimited. The salary is based on the Collective Agreement for the German Public Service (TVöD-Bund).
