Event Manager (f/m/d) in the Communications Department

Reference No.: GF 2024/7

The Communications Department is responsible for the external image of HZB. We communicate the scientific research achievements of HZB and are responsible for the topics our centre communicates internally and externally. As a team of dedicated colleagues (editorial team, web team and event management), we work hand in hand. Networking and personal training are a matter of course for us. We are happy to support new colleagues and help them familiarise themselves with the centre.

For our event management, we are looking for a responsible person who enjoys organising small and large events in a scientific environment. You are not afraid of telephoning and negotiating. You want to take care of the many small and big things that are part of organising. You can accept the fact that sometimes a weekend is affected and it is important to you that everything works out in the end. You are determined to clear away the obstacles that may arise. You don't forget to liaise with everyone involved. You always stay on the ball with your projects and enjoy approaching people. You enjoy working in a team. Organisational skills, a communicative nature and a service-oriented manner are prerequisites for the position.
